Save The Arts

What is Save The Arts?

Save the Arts is a nonprofit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to empowering educators and inspiring students through the arts. They provide arts-specific curricula designed for after-school and out-of-school programs, focusing on underserved communities and communities of color.

What is our Design Challenge?

Arts programs in the Phoenix area, especially in low-income communities, face severe challenges due to:

  • Limited funding
  • A focus on standardized testing over creative subjects
  • Lack of access to resources and trained educators

UX Goal

Our goal is to bring together donors, volunteers, advocates, and educators who are passionate about arts education and connect them with communities throughout the Phoenix area to save the arts!
